The Norwegian University of Science and TechnologyNTNU Logo is Norway´s largest university with the main campus in Trondheim and campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund. NTNU has over 44,000 students and over 8000 full time equivalent staff. NTNU has the main national responsibility for education and research in engineering and technology fields, and is the successor of Norway's preeminent engineering university. In 2021, NTNU awarded nearly 412 PhDs of which 43 per cent are women and 35 per cent are international. NTNU´s vision is knowledge for a better world, and as of August 2022 NTNU has 25 ongoing ERC projects, 49 signed Horizon Europe projects and 261 signed Horizon 2020 projects. NTNU also has a close collaboration with industry and SINTEF, one of Europe´s largest independent research institutions.

 

TUAI key persons

Prof. Shen Yin has expertise in trustworthy AI techniques for safety-critical systems. His research spans safety and security in technical processes, system and control theory, and machine learning for monitoring and control. He has authored 140 peer-reviewed journal papers, closely aligning with the project's research topics. He was elected as IEEE Fellow and has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher in Engineering for the past eight years.

 

Prof. Jia-Chun Lin focuses on developing lightweight real-time anomaly detection for practical applications. J. C. Lin’s research area include anomaly detection, time series analysis, IoT, security, privacy, machine learning, and parallel and distributed computing. She has around 17 years of experience working on research projects and played a leading and coordinating role in many of them.
